Anastasia Miroshnichenko Vocal Class Concert

Anastasia Miroshnichenko Vocal Class Concert

On Sunday, March 10, 2024, the performance of the “Neapolis” Conservatory by the vocal department of Anastasia Miroshnichenko entitled “the sound of cinema” took place.

The young and older students, for just under two hours, received the warm applause of the audience, which filled the hospitable space of the Greek Girls’ High School of Kavala.

The children sang well-known hits, such as “I put a spell on you”, “I have nothing”, “Happy”, in solo pieces and ensembles, delighting the audience with their stage presence and vocal abilities.

The event was a co-organization of the Kavala Women Scientists’ Union and the Greek Girls’ High School of Kavala.

Both the vice president of the Union of Women Scientists, Mrs. Maria Economidou, and the president of the Greek Women's High School, Mrs. Marina Filippidou, referred to Women's Day, which was celebrated on March 8.

Specifically, they honored the great figure of Greek history, national benefactor and founder of the Greek Women's High School, Kalliroi Parren, emphasizing the importance of contribution, empathy and the promotion of Greek identity.

The concert was accompanied by the teachers of the Neapolis Conservatory, Elpida Baxevani on the piano and Pavlos Hasirtzoglou on the guitar. Christopher Baca's student, Georgia Koutsoubeli, accompanied the students on percussion instruments.

Warm thanks to the staff of the Municipal Theatre of Kavala for their cooperation and lending part of the scenery and costumes to the students.

The finale was moving as Anastasia Miroshnichenko urged the audience, with the song “Never enough”, not to be afraid to laugh out loud, to cry out loud and ultimately to become the protagonist in their own lives, carefully choosing their “co-protagonists” and “the scenery”!
